Hiting 1k hit is 6 months / question about stats and interpretation
I have an early Christmas gift.
The fic I started on June 7th has reached over 1 000 hits. Given it is my first fic in English, I am quite proud. I know it is a low hit count given the time frame, even more since the fandom is an extremely busy and popular one, but I am very happy !!
I wish I could improve my "stats" in terms of long-term engagement, with more bookmarks, but I think people do enjoy my fic, beyond my first chap. I think 26 kudos is a fair amount.... ????
Or am I interpreting the stats incorrectly?
I write for my own pleasure, but I publish for others', so while I am not anxious about hits, kudos and comments (even though i LOVE them), I want to make sure I deliver quality.
What do you think? Should I be happy or should I work harder to "seduce" readers?
Thanks for any advice ♫
