What are things you should know/learn about in your early 20s as you enter the "real world?"

I get overwhelmed when learning about topics like insurance, taxes, etc., and ultimately shut down and avoid them because they make me feel stupid and frustrated that I don't know how these things work/I wish this were taught more in high school!!

If anyone has any other suggestions on things I should know or tips to learn this stuff as a soon-to-be 23-year-old, that'd be very much appreciated :,)
