Road tripping: in my car or a rental?

Hi everyone! I'm in need of some advice. I'm gonna be taking a 3 day road trip in about 2 weeks to a city that's about 250 miles away, so 500 miles round trip, not counting the driving we'll be doing around the city. I've rounded down my options to either driving my own car there or renting a car from someplace nearby and driving that. For some background info: My car is a 2010 toyota corolla LE with about 179,650 miles. It works fine every day, and I got an oil change not too long ago, but my main concern is due to a bit of a fender bender i got into back in August 2024. Nothing major, my tire got the brunt of it, frame is perfectly intact. Most of it got repaired and the mechanic left me a note basically saying it pulls a bit to the right and there's noise coming from the front left strut + popping in subframe for whenever I could afford to get it fixed, which won't be until about July. Life, money, and all that. She's a bit creaky at times, but again, she doesn't give me trouble in my day to day. The place I looked into to rent a car was about $100/day, not counting gas. I was decided on renting a car due to my car's mileage and prior problems, but my girlfriend is begging me to reconsider since we're most likely gonna spend a good bit on the trip. I would really like to save for our trip, but I'm also thinking about it long term. I wanna drive this thing until it has nothing left to give, I like my car and I also just can't afford a new car this or next year.

Would it be okay to take the road trip in my car or should I splurge on a rental for my car's sake?
