Köpa en nästan ny bil, tips?

Hej hej Sweddit, I have had a bad experience with my last 2 vehicles bought from bilhandlare here in Sweden. First was a 2007 Suzuki which was an actual lemon. Second was a 2004 Volvo V70 which to be fair I probably ruined myself. I have some money to spend this time around though. I'm looking at a Hybrid Toyota RAV4. Post 2020. Around 1-2k mil. So almost new. It will be a different experience than the last 2 because I am spending so much more.

I am happy to travel some distance to find the right car / price. I live in Dalarna now but am moving to Norra Skåne soon. So somewhere between those 2 locations.

• How important is it for the handlare to be close to my home?
• Should the handlare offer a warranty?
• New vs used? I am defaulting to used but I have seen a new RAV4 in Uppsala for less than the price of a used vehicle with 1000 mil.
• Any advantage to buying specifically from a Toyota dealer ?
• Should I haggle?
• Anything else to consider?

I'm a bit nervous because it's so much more than I've ever spent on a vehicle, so trying to do the research.
