Kraken - purchasing question

This may be a dumb question but i am a dumb person… when i logged onto Kraken it shows the price of BTC at $106,203 but once i made a purchase it shows that i bought it at $107,802. Go back to the homepage and the price still says $106k - what is the reason for this?
