NEMA 14-30 (240V) connector?

I don't have a 50 amp outlet in the garage yet, so I went to plug the car into the dryer, and it's only a 30 amp circuit. That means it has a different plug than what came with the car.

I see that GM sells a NEMA 14-30 plug for the EVSE, but when I select the Blazer EV as my car, it disappears from the list of compatible parts. I found it being sold below MSRP from the GMC dealership I used to go to; I selected that I have a Hummer and was able to buy it.

Has anyone successfully used the NEMA 14-30 connector with the Blazer? Or for anyone that's done L2 charging before, does does the car let you select the amperage like it does when you do L1 charging?
