Bulk or Cut??

Been cutting for 3 months walking 10-20k steps a day & heavy lifting 5-6x/week. Was 185 in October after a bit of a dirty bulk & am now 156. Personal trainer said I should lean bulk but Im thinking I might just cut for another 4 weeks, get absolutely shredded then lean bulk. Lmk thoughts. I also have wide hips with a bit of love handle fat still left so I kinda wanna get super lean like 9-10% body fat
