Does it make sense to go electric?

Hi All

First post here, and looking to get some advice on what car to get.

I am based in Kolkata and currently have a 2017 Endeavor. We have been talking about getting a new car for a while and am finally starting to look around.

My partner and I want to have 2 cars, one for daily purposes which would be driven mostly by the chauffeur and one under self. For the self we have decided to get the X1 on Diwali.

For the daily option we are confused if we should go electric? Our daily commute is around 20-30 kms round trip. Kolkata roads are obviously not the best so want to stick to something with high ground clearance.

We are currently debating the Atto 3 or the Roxx AX7L. We do have charging facilities in our society.

How has your experience been with electric cars and do you think the infrastructure has caught up enough to make one your daily driver?
