Is Hello Kitty Island Adventure worth buying an apple product for?

I've heard of this game a lot, particularly in posts looking for games similar to Animal Crossing. Nothing I've found hits the spot that AC does and I've tried a lot of games. I don't like Disney Dreamlight Valley or farming sims like SDV.

Would you say this game is worth it enough to get an apple product capable of playing it?

If so, what's recommended to buy? I've never purchased a Mac so I don't know where to start, should I get a tablet? Does it have to be a new one or could I get an old one off something like fb marketplace and the game will run okay?

Am I crazy for buying something just for this game? Is it forever playable like AC? For context I have over 2700 hours spent on New Horizons
