Brad Meltzer Identity Crisis adapted into new DCU
I think a loose adaptation of Brad Meltzer's Identity Crisis would not only make a great story but also great basis for the origin of the Justice League. I know that Meltzer's graphic novel is rather controversial, so I do think some changes would need to be made while still staying true to overall spirit of the Meltzer's superhero murder mystery.
I liked the idea of taking Meltzer's Identity Crisis and making it a reconstruction of the superhero genre rather than solely a deconstruction. Like what if Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman get the idea to form the Justice League as a result of some superheroes' abusing their power? Thus, inspiring other superheroes to reform and be better. It could serve as a reverse Watchmen, while also serving as the origin story for this new DCU version of the Justice League.
