We need some new fun and creative 1st and 2nd column weapon perks

Every Season/Episode, we get a handful of new 3rd and 4th column weapon perks. And while many of these new perks are great and all, why are we only getting perks for half of a weapon's perk slots?

Seriously, we've had the same selection of barrels and magazines for years now with hardly any new additions. Why haven't we gotten more perks like Seraph Rounds? I feel like if the first two columns were given some new life, that'd really help make new and reprised loot more interesting.

In the 2nd column specifically, I'd love to see more ammo variations. Like we have High Cal Rounds, Ricochet Rounds, etc.
