Its all getting worse, how do I fix it?

I have the acid reflux of a 65 year old man, and in september was puking every other day. They put me on 40mg omeprazole which stopped the puking and has been working really well lately, but everything has changed this past week. Standardly, before it changed my symptoms were silent belching, heartburn feeling in LES and that was it. Now, after everything I eat I burp. Loud. They're like calls of battle, way more then I ever have before even before my medication. And they're after everything. Drinks, Food, and im not just embarrassed, they're uncomfortable. I'm worried. They're ALL THE TIME. please help, im scared. They're not letting me see the gastroenterologist until march.
