How long after being clear of GW till you no longer have to disclose?

What the title says. Are people disclosing GW they had 5 years ago with no reoccurrence? Is this something you disclose forever or assume you are clear after 2-3 years? I get that this is a subjective question but I’m wondering what others think and how they approach dating.
