Could this be a flare up?

This has been going on for almost 2 weeks. I originally thought it was an allergic reaction but it seems to be getting worse. I went to the doctor Tuesday and got a steroid shot and a prescription. He also has me taking Pepsid and Allegra. The photo is a progression with the last on being today and the worst so far.
