I don't necessarily have an issue teaching new players, but a lot of them are acting incredibly rude.
The big issue with new players coming from a free weekend or something is that a lot of them simply do not care to even try and learn how to play the game, and since they got the game for free, they can just grief, troll, and blatantly ignore their entire team because there are no consequences. Even if they got a full game ban, they don't care, they didn't spend any money on it and clearly never wanted to play the game as intended to begin with, so there's no punishment to dissuade them from teamkilling or being toxic.
As a rule I would 10/10 times always rather have the level 1 that doesn't know shit but at least tries to help and listens to advice over the level 300 that thinks he's hot shit and ignores orders because he thinks he knows better, but with this free period I'm not getting the helpful level 1s, I'm getting the people who have voice chat turned off because they're in Discord and think TKing the commander and squad leader is the funniest shit in the world, or take the commander role and refuse to give it up because they're having a power trip.
All this to say: If you're new, for the love of God please just listen to orders, listen to advice, nobody will care if your K/D is trash or that you aren't being successful so long as you're TRYING. That's all that really matters, is that you put in the honest effort to be helpful, your squad leaders will always appreciate that they got you instead of someone who doesn't care.
