How to create swing trading strategy ?

I am 27 years old and doing small investments from past 3 years. I am building good portfolio by mixing large cap with mid and small cap. However I am realised if I have to generate a substantial money from stock market regularly I have to do swing trading. I have basic knowledge about technical indicators. I have also learned about price action but i cant understand candlesticks patterns. For me its working only 10-15% of time. Can anyone help me how can I proceed to create a strategy for me ? Please note I am not asking about any specific strategies as I have learned from here “please make your own system/strategy”
