Has anyone’s time frame for trays changed(per tray)?

I am currently in each tray for 2 weeks before switching. I’ve noticed some people are switching every week or 10 days. I have an appointment with my dentist soon where I will ask more about this but I was just curious if anyone has started out with 2 week trays and then went down to 7 days(with permission of course)?
