Justin Baldoni Has Zero Incentive To Settle

I can see no reason why Justin, himself, would have any incentive to settle.

The only plausible reason would be pressure from Hollywood power players, none of whom ever had his back for one minute.

1. If Hollywood power players were pushing "Settle or you'll be blacklisted". Why would you have any faith that you won't be blacklisted regardless? Where's the trust? There is none.
2. Why open yourself up to possible liability of breaking some confidentiality agreement when it's not you that needs the confidentiality in this?
3. I've heard $150million put out there as possible settlement amount. Split between Baldoni, Heath, Wayfarer, Sarowitz, and their legal team - I don't think that's enough to be satisfied with especially when you will always have a risk of liability attached to it in the non-disclosure.

So many saying there is 99% chance of settling before court.

I don't see how. I see a 1% chance of settling and 99% chance of taking this all the way.

If people like Taylor & Ari want this to settle, maybe they need to pony up another $250 million to increase the odds of that.

Plus, how would Blake settling affect the NYT lawsuit? I don't see a settlement. Not even 1% chance.
