Beef with Curlya

Listen I would like to preface this: People can do what they like! AU's and all that whatever. This is just a rant because based on information given to us from the game, I don't understand how this ship is so popular.

So like, going off of strickly the game and no AU stuff, it's shown that Anya and Curly have some level of a rapport. I can get that, since it's shown that they had multiple private conversations and he was willing to do small favors for her (like do Jimmy's psych eval). But this is like, literally all that we have, and in times where Anya confided in Curly it's more like an employee who needs help from their superior, not someone trying to open up for the sake of building a relationship. She was often signalling for help.

So yeah, based on what we are shown I just really struggle to see how this ship is so popular, like if they had something more intimate than a decent coworker relationship, then why would Curly tolerate Jimnasty's abuse toward her? Like yeah, confronting him could've causes problems (which is often an argument for why Curly chose inaction along with his relationship with Jimbastard) but if you're in love with someone it's normal and expected to cause a scene over something that severe (even if they weren't in love, he should have done something).

Anyway yeah, that's it. Curlya confuses the hell out of me. I feel like Curly is often given a little too much slack for what happened. And honestly, all of the ships kinda confuse me. This story just doesn't feel like something that has room for romance in my mind. Sorry to yuck yal's yum. (I actually wouldn't mind the ship if Jimmy didn't exist but otherwise it just breaks my mind)
