Walmart spark is so confusing

So the people who load my car either give me the sticker, or they slap it on my seats/trunk. Yesterday the guy loaded my truck and walked away, no labels on the bags, no labels on my truck. He came back out and said my driver code was wrong. I asked him for the labels and he said “idk probably on the tote”

I said “well I have to scan them”

A lady comes out and says “you need to get out of your car and get your labels”

So which one is it? Do I get out and take the labels off the totes myself? Do they hand them to me? Are they supposed to put them on my seats/trunk? The app says nothing, and even recommends staying in the car so it makes for a smoother process. They are rude as hell to me but the whole process is not clear on what we as drivers need to do.
