The Midnight Motivation Scam
Ah yes, midnight the magical hour when we suddenly become the most productive, goal-oriented versions of ourselves. Lying in bed, we make big plans. Tomorrow, we’ll wake up early, hit the gym, finish all our pending work, clean our entire house, maybe even start a side hustle. We see the vision. We believe in the vision.
Then morning arrives… and suddenly, that same to-do list looks like a lot. Our energy? Gone. Our motivation? Vanished. Suddenly, scrolling our phones for an hour seems essential before doing anything remotely productive.
So what do we do? We push it to tomorrow. But guess what? Midnight will roll around again, and we’ll be back, lying in bed, hyped up about all the things we will definitely do… tomorrow...and the loop continues.
