NEVER ENOUGH

It’s my mom’s birthday. I gave her 2000 pesos. Apart from not receiving a THANK YOU in return, she also got mad at me for giving her just this amount. She insisted I add another 1000 pesos. I explained that I need to pay 4000 for our lunch which will be delivered shortly. She then again got mad at me for spending such for food, I could have given her that total amount of money she said. I told her that my siblings are coming over to celebrate with us. She then agaid said I should have stop them from coming to avoid food expenses. Lol I asked her doesn’t she want to be celebrating with us? I’m so tired of not being enough always. For context this money is I saved up for. I couldn’t even buy new stuff for myself just so I could make her day. But I guess, just like how it is every occasions, she will never appreciate what can I give even though that means giving her all that I have.

So yup, cheers to all providers who were never thanked and appreciated. 🥂 Cheers to not being enough even though we’ve given ‘much’.
