Nothing on U/S

Hey yall!

I’ve been doing the doctor merry-go-round for the last year. It started with fatigue and GI issues, then abdominal pain and bloating and weird periods. Eventually I started having brain fog, muscle twitching, and neuropathy, along with palmar fasciitis

My first stop was Obgyn. They did an u/s and said I had a couple fibroids but they couldn’t be causing symptoms and sent me to G. I’ve been there, rheumatology, neurology, ortho, pain management. You name it, I’ve been there with 20 bottles of pills on my dresser to show for it.

I ended up finally going to the er not long ago and they did a CT and told me there’s a 6.5cm complex-cystic adnexal mass on side, and a 7cn solid mass on the other. I told them I had an u/s a year ago and they said there’s no way the doctor say those lesions and did nothing, so I just assumed they weren’t there or they were obscured or something.

Fast forward to seeing a new OBgyn…and they did an u/s (abdominal and vaginal) and again, didn’t see it. They did visualize a 4.5cm fibroid but it obstructed a lot of the view. My dr. hasn’t seen the CT scans so I’m hoping I don’t have to try to convince her I’m not imagining things. We were supposed to be going into surgery ASAP after we got more info from the u/s…but now I don’t know.

Has anyone had issues visualizing lesions on ultrasound? Should I find a gynecological oncologist, just in case?
