BPI E credit card compromises
Nangyari to kaninang madaling araw lang habang natutulog ako. (No otp request) I immediately texted to block the bpi e-credit card and called the bpi hotline to further disable the card, process dispute, and e credit card replacement. Sabi ng agent may mga merchant talaga na hindi nag a-ask ng otp.
Last transaction sa e-cc nato ay from grab kasi nakalink naman ito for payment. I also used my main cc(not e-cc)from a known store yesterday, well I don't know if it has something to do with it.
Also, hindi naman ako nag lalagay ng mga cc details agad2 sa mga unreliable & suspicious sites when purchasing online.
And I just realized that my e-cc has a purchased limit set(around 20-30k) but for some reason it got charged(hacked) more than that amount. I will callback again for clarification.
Total transactions(base from agent) = 8 Amount: Around 100k+
Sa tingin nyo ano pa ba ang dapat kung gawin aside from calling bpi? Right now, I just started scanning my pc. And have you encountered this kind of situation before? Thank you.
