How can I clean the dust out of super slim?

Ive tried a micro fiber cloth, ive even tried a toothbrush, compressed air doesn't do shit, my last option is spending $50 on a duster, at least I think that's my last option. Am I just doing it from the wrong angle? Is there something else I could use? Also, every time I turn it on the fans ramp up to max speed after a few seconds, what could be the cause of that?
