Title says it all. I tested on October 30th.
I used Bootcamp and the layout and format was just like the actual NCLEX. The case studies were great and highly recommend it if you want something to mimic the NCLEX.
I scored High, Very High, High and Very High on the readiness exam.
I did most of the qbank except 4 of the critical care case studies.
I started studying August 1st just looking over Mark K lectures and bought Bootcamp on September 6th. I’ll be honest I think I over studied and by the time my test came around I was mentally fatigued. I would study 8+ hrs everyday.
My weak area was OB/Pharm and they did throw me a lot of OB and Pharm questions and I will make sure to focus on those topics the next time around.
During my test I was tested on every topic it seemed. I got a lot of mental health, OB, peds, pharm, adult health. I was actually glad my exam didn’t stop at 85 bc I was ready to go at least 100+
My anxiety also got the best of me I could literally hear my heart racing (I had earplugs in).
I’m thinking of giving myself a week off and then getting back at it. I already re-registered and going to book the next exam date (after 45 days). If anyone can give me good tips. Maybe UWorld? I’ll still use Bootcamp to reinforce content, I still recommend it despite using it and I didn’t pass. That’s all on me. I think I need instill test taking strategies as well
