Employer states I'm not on payroll

Hi all!

Sorry if this isn't for this thread, I just figured this might be relevant. Please direct me elsewhere of you know of a better place. 🙏

My former employer was supposed to pay me out PTO when I left the job. The policy was that I had to work there two years. I technically was shy by 10 days because they intentionally didn't schedule me. They're claiming to the labor board they took me off even though we had texted about when they needed me next.

My question is this:

The pay date was my two year anniversary date. Does that mean I was still on payroll?
