CA Real Estate Exam information / How I passed (Allied + Prep Agent)

Hi everyone. I just took my CA real estate salesperson exam this morning and passed on my first try. Leading up to the test and before signing up for classes I was confused on how to study and what programs to use so I thought I would post this.

I took my courses through Allied Real Estate: https://refer.alliedschools.com/x/Rg3wNS. I found that they were a great school and had very helpful textbooks. All I did to study for the course finals was read through the textbooks. They are a great resource to have. I will say that their comprehensive final exams are rough though. I found them confusing and hard to take.

I studied for the CA Real Estate Salesperson exam by signing up and taking practice tests through Prep Agent: https://refer.alliedschools.com/x/Rg3wNS. (I attached all the tests I took leading up to the exam to show what scores you should shoot for to pass your exam first try.) I will also say the the prep agent tests are easier than the actual Salesperson exam, However if you fully understand all the vocabulary and reasoning behind the questions it allows you to think through the answers on the test.

Here is a video from the DRE explaining the process on your actual testing day: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DQf0TlpmwyU&t=1s

Good Luck!!
