Automatic Migration

Can someone explain to me why the migration to V2 wasn’t automatic? I’ve seen so many posts about people annoyed that the migration window will close at some point. I feel like this could have all been avoided by an automatic migration but the Safemoon team.

Plenty of other coins, albeit smaller, have managed to do automatic migrations without issues.
