weird cancellation experience

i recently had a skeb marked as cancelled very shortly after it was accepted, so i messaged the artist on twitter to see if it was something i had done within my request so i wouldnt make the same mistake down the line (i have now been informed thats against the rules and i wont be doing it again)

she responded to say it wasnt cancelled and i'm still in her queue? is there any explaination for something like this happening? will she still get paid?
