How is doing nothing but trying to hit pre-approved meta teams not mind numbingly boring?
Don't get me wrong; on a base level I understand, you want to win, winning makes you feel good, maybe your a high rank and you're scared of losing it because it means something to you. That is all fairly normal to some degree.
But teamfight tactics is literally already an auto-battler. The only things you do is choose what team, item and augments you get. Which means your only real source of enjoyment (or at least, how I see the game) comes from experimenting with different options on your own to figure out what works well, and pitting your own educated tactical guesses and insights against other players
I genuinely cannot fathom where your 'fun' level comes in when all your trying to do is fit a list. You win by doing what the top ranked TFT meta website told you to do. Does that not take out literally all the fun one could have while playing this game? Knowing the potential outcome already and having it literally only come down to RNG?
Is that what the penultimate top tiers of this game looks like? Who gets luckier than the other guys? It seems so unreal to me that you would want to play the game like that. Even if I get shot up a higher ELO than I should be in, i'm not swerving into a meta checklist comp so I can keep a rank that gives me nothing that only serves to keep me in the field of play where I can't actively compete with the other people playing without making the game extremely boring. You are barely even playing a game at that point
