Overly friendly squirrel near Steinhaus Hall

There was a super friendly squirrel near ALP and Steinhaus Hall today at around 4-5pm. It was going up to everyone and getting really close to humans in general. I had a class to go to so i just walked past it but thinking back i feel like it mightve been asking for help? Did anyone else see the squirrel and if so do you guys know what happened to it?
