Got a 2:2 in my degree. Am I fucked?

Graduated last year with a 2:2. No one to blame but myself really, so I won’t moan about it. Just wondering how much it’ll set me back.

I have managed to get a job related to my degree, which is pretty fortunate. I’m not sure if it can be classed as a “graduate job” though, since the requirements for the role were EITHER a relevant degree OR a HNC and 2 years of experience in the role. Would that be classed as a graduate job? I’m not sure.

Anyway, just wondering whether the degree class will hinder my career progression in any way, and whether it’ll limit any other roles that I apply to (even with the experience of my current job).

Edit: the degree was in chemistry
