Disappointed, and ADA violation

I’m sure this is going to be downvoted. But I need to get it off my chest.

I flew down for the OI meetup tonight. I was so excited. Riding Hagrids at night has been on my bucket list. I went to ride Hagrids tonight after dark and the people at the front asked me if I needed the conveyer belt slowed or stopped. I said yes (I walk with a cane, I have fallen before on that belt getting on and off the ride, they do it no problems). They told me they’re not doing that tonight and recommended I come back tomorrow to ride during the day.

This is an ADA violation (ADA act requires theme parks to provide reasonable accommodations for disabilities; and if a theme park is able to reasonably accommodate it during the day, they’re required to provide the same accommodations during private events). The whole reason I flew down today and I wasn’t even able to ride. And it was very illegal.

I still had fun, but after that my mood was really dampened and I ended up going back to the hotel early.
