What are your program mentors like?

I’m making this post because I’m not sure what my program mentor is supposed to be like and if I should request a new one. My mentor checks in on me once a week but the past month they have checked in with me once every 2 weeks which is fine. However during that time I was really struggling with my last course and I had reached out asking if I could start another course and come back to it they this was at the beginning of the week they never got back to me and did not even mention the email at the next meeting. Fast forward I just passed that class on Friday and emailed them again asking if they would release more classes to me but they have not replied to my email or released more courses. I understand they have a life outside of being a program mentor but I feel like I’m wasting my term waiting for them to release more classes I just wanted to get an idea of how other peoples program mentors were and if I should request a new mentor thanks!
