WGU Cybersecurity Masters, Required Certs, with No History in IT/Cybersecurity.
I graduated with a bachelors in finance, and will start my masters in WGU in cybersecurity in March. But i’m very skeptical about the 3 required certifications required, ( CompTIA Cybersecurity analyst(CySA+), CompTIA PenTest+, and (ISC)2 ) . I mean i looked up the ISC2 cert, and its for people with 3-5 years of experience. My friend with a business degree (which is often easier than finance) said he got his masters in wgu and passed it. I’m just pessimistic i guess, but What do you guys think? Also is it true that those 3 certs are the only required cert for the degree, and if you don’t pass them you can’t graduate?
Thanks!
