Why does Minho have a british accent (as a character, I'm not talking about the actor who obviously has the accent in real life)? Was it ever explained?

So I know Sang Heon obviously has his accent because of his time in UK, but did they ever explain why they wanted Minho specifically as a character to have an accent? I think in an interview Sang Heon said the character description for Minho was someone with a British or Australian accent (I might be remembering wrong), so why was that the case?

At first I thought the reasoning was because maybe Minho went to school in the UK as a kid which is how he learned to speak fluent English + picked up the accent (sorta like Sang Heon in real life), but during the hilarious argument between Dae+Minho and Jin, they bring up that they all went to school together in 4th grade which I'm assuming means it was in Korea. So how did Minho as the character gain the accent? Idk I'm just here because that plot hole has been intriguing me for a while now lmaoo. I mean it's not a big deal bc it's just a show, and either way I loove his character and his accent, but still I need some more plot background from them haha.
