My first First!

Posting here as my friends and family don’t always get it!

P2’s 40th birthday is coming up and we finally got the green light from grandma to watch the toddlers so we could go on an award trip extravaganza. We live in Oklahoma so finding award flights isn’t easy. In order to experience the better lounges/flight, we found a great deal out of NYC on Virgin Atlantic UC for 50k Cap1 points total.

My really exciting moment was finding 2 first awards on BA LHR-IAH through AA which is where we have a lot of points. It was a no brainer to hop on that 85k/pp flight for less than the cash cost of an economy ticket with the taxes and fees. While I know it’s been called “the best business class in the sky” we can’t wait to enjoy it, especially without toddlers! Any tips to not embarrass ourselves in first class would be greatly appreciated!
