Fidelity National Financial

Just throwing this out there as I just learned of this today since we do business with Fidelity, but at 3am they shut down all their systems and networks because of security incident, according to my source there.

No access to emails, and they plan to be down until Monday the 27th.

They haven’t posted an official statement, but I’ll be curious to learn from our contacts there after this clears up what happened. Sounds like they shut down access to reduce the risk of the unauthorized access from spreading.

They have a large Family of Companies that’s all been affected under their umbrella.

UPDATE 11/27: Looking at Wednesday the 29th at the earliest, but that’s not looking promising. They mentioned they have to personally notify/confirm ID on ALL 27000 employees nationally just for Chicago Title.

UPDATE 11/29: Appears FNF is getting back up with email and phones but cautioning to be vigilant with suspicious emails from them. Some systems/companies should be following suit. Steps in the right direction at least. 🤞🏼
