Did Casuarina Square ever have a Pet Store (sold live animals)?

I’ve visited Darwin (Casuarina) a handful of times while growing up and it’s changed a lot but I have a distinct memory of their being a pet store at the shopping centre. So was there ever a pet store or am I confusing memories with a childhood dream?
