It hurts me so much that, ironically, as my depression & anxiety have made me unsocial & introverted, that people too-casually misread that as me being antisocial & hostile. Other takes:

It's been so hard to have my illness misread, and that I need people misunderstood as me not wantng anything to do with anybody. I had depression at the start of my teen years, maybe before, and my brother, who's aggressive, angry and often hostile in general, really let me have it for what he perceived as laziness, meanness and, well, hostility.
