Disc with an identity crisis

I wanted to check with y'all to see if someone has had a similar experience. This disc is the least Eagle flying eagle I've ever thrown.

I recently purchased this disc. With the intention of either having a back up to my Draco or for a tweener between my Draco and Champ FD. I've had good experiences with Barsby Eagles in the past with their overstability ranging from absolute beefcakes to pretty straight and mellow finishes when thrown flat.

But this one is something else entirely. It is the flippiest Eagle I've ever thrown in my life.

I went to throw it on a 280ft shot that doglegs left pretty hard. I've thrown 2018 Barsby Eagles on this hole before and I'm pretty confident with throwing it flat and wide and letting it work back in with a little skip to the landing zone. But today the disc flips over immediately into a throwler.

Ummm, that's not supposed to happen lol. I was a little confused, there was no real wind to speak of. I was pretty sure I saw the disc turn into a throwler, but ok maybe I actually released it with more anny than I thought.

Next hole is a long and straight shot with a pretty wide fairway. On my second shot, I try this disc again (this time with some tailwind). Slight hyzer to the right side of the fairway, so that I can fade left and land in the middle. Lo and behold, it still flips over!

Gents, I threw this disc 3 more times, and I turned it over 3 more times.

This disc was more understandable than ny Leopard3! Has anyone had any experience with this run of Eagles? Are they all this flippy?

Tell me about a time you bought a disc and it flew completely differently than what you expected.
