Thoughts on these clubs/orgs?

Hello! ID124 here, I promised myself that this year, I am going to go out of my comfort zone and join orgs that I have always wanted to be part of (in general) even if I have no background experience prior to joining. I saw in the usg frosh kit about the list of orgs in dlsu, I’m sure there are more orgs/clubs available, but for now, here are the orgs I’m interested in

—— DLSU Outdoor Club + I want to be more active, but I’m not quite athletic or physically fit. I’m also a girl, so, I’m quite worried about my safety since we would be out of campus (most likely)

—— ENGLICOM + It piqued my interest because of the cultural events and workshops. However, I don’t have a drop of Chinese blood, and I’m scared that I might face discrimination or maybe there’s this unsaid rule about non-Chinese students joining the org. I really want to learn more about Chinese culture, and I also want to learn more about the language. So, I think joining would be a great first step.

—— DLSU AU + I have always been passionate regarding orgs similar to this. My question is, how’s the org environment and how are the seniors?

I wanted to ask your experiences if ever you’ve joined the org or are currently org members. Or, if you have friends who are/were members. What are the pros and cons?
