Lance Hedrick was so right about updosing

I only have ~half a year of experience making espresso . I watched one of the last videos about smaller basket diameters and overall puck depth and decided to try out bigger dose. I made 21.8 g in my Pesado HE ( L size fits 19-21 g but I used Passalacqua Harem which is pretty pretty dark roast ). Made my DF64 gen2 to grind coarser (from 13 to 17), pulled 45g in 32 sec. And oh boy, what it was a shot! Super high sweetness , even pleasant hints of acidity (this coffee has almost none), freaking dry fruit notes, Carl!!! Never had anything like that with Passalacqua Harem before! What to the amount of coffee - I’m lucky and can split it between me and my wife (she prefers milk based and heavily diluted drinks). Can’t recommend enough to try to updose. One thing to mention- I had to swap my normal metal mesh puck screen(1.7 mm) with 0.2 mm Normcore screen. Otherwise it won’t fit.
