Being an expat pilot sucks balls.

After being at a regional for 4 years I got fed up and in 2012 I decided to end the bullshit. With the pocket change I saved from the second programming job (would do it along with flying) I payed 10k for an A330 type rating course so I could work in China. My airline accepts me, sweet!

Not so. Flying in Chinas the worst fucking thing ever. I get food poisoning on a regular basis, I have to make sure theres no flies in the food, theres so much smog everywhere and the passengers and pilots are beyond fucking retarded. Pilots are fresh out of Aerosim but because they are chinese they get to be the captain. To them a takeoff is to hand fly to 300 feet then let the auto pilot take over. Usually I'll tell them 'no' as they reach over, but CRM is a big disgrace to captains in china. If you dare have a countering decision, I either have a captain yelling at me in broken english or chinese.

Also the ATC here is horrible but thats another rant. I fucking hate using meters when I return back home that'll be relieving.
