FW Jacques Yves Tempête (Review)
So I’ll start by saying, I’ve never smelled the OG LV Orage. I know that “Orage” in French means thunderstorm so I always found that type of fragrance fascinating. Tempête in French means storm. Anyway, on to how it smells.
This smells, to me, on par with the name. I used to have a sample of Le Labo’s Baie 19, which is supposed to smell like a forest after a rainstorm and it was pretty accurate. This fragrance reminds me a lot Baie 19. It’s very fresh but very green as well. No clue how close it is to the actual LV. I just got this yesterday so I’ll update on performance and longevity.
So far this lasted on me yesterday for about 5-6 hours with only a couple sprays. I’ll let it sit on my shelf for a couple weeks but if you’re a fan of that petrichor type of smell, I think you would enjoy this.
