Looking for hiking pants for colder weather

Been hiking mostly in summer but now that the weather is really getting colder here is become more and more less hiking weather.

But since people will still go hiking in Sweden, Norway etc, does anyone know some good pants for hiking in winter? Or has some tips what to wear? My upperbody is not the problem, but my legs are getting awfully cold.
