Thoughts on IGN-7 helmet?

I’ve been using the Ignyte IGN-7 for the past two years, and it’s hands down my favorite helmet. It’s DOT and ECE 22.05 certified, looks great, and has proven itself in a real crash. I went down at 120 km/h, flipped off the bike, and landed on my back. Walked away without a scratch—helmet barely had some scuffs.

Before buying, I checked out other premium options like Axor and LS2 , but their graphics didn’t appeal to me. LS2 is well-made, but it’s Chinese, and I just can’t bring myself to rock gear from a country that’s India’s direct rival.

Over time, this helmet has become a part of me. People recognize me by my lid alone, and honestly, even though I should probably upgrade, I can’t bring myself to retire it. Plus, since it’s made in India, getting replacement visors, locks, and padding is a breeze.

I see a lot of people in this sub dismissing it as just a Steelbird rebrand. Not sure where that comes from, but in my experience, it’s been tough, reliable, and worth every penny. What do you guys think? And should i upgrade to something else? What is the best made in India helmet? or Should i just buy a foreign made one?
