Any other INTJs with strong sense of empathy?

I was genuinely shocked a few years ago when my school had us start researching our personality types for career planning purposes and I kept getting INTJ, I’ve always been told I’m a really compassionate person, and fall really strongly towards the utilitarian side of ethics. I do tend to think people don’t have good emotional regulation skills, but I still try to see things from their experiences to make sense of their decisions. Why is this not common in other INTJs? Or why do I never hear about it? Am I actually an INTJ then?
