Multiple family members applying

Hello all! So I am starting the process of getting my application together for Italian Citizenship through decent as I recently found out through a preliminary assessment that I am eligible through two bloodlines. I will be applying as well as my sister and my dad.

Everything I’ve read has said members from the same family applying can use “common documentation” but the consulate website also says there are no joint appointments and it has to be done individually. So my question is, when I’m obtaining all of the vital records, do I need to get three copies of everything for all of our applications separately?

Also looking for any tips from people who have done this on their own regarding collecting documentation, translation services and apostilles as I will be handling most of the leg work in the process. Would also love to hear from anybody who went through with the process… how was the it? How long did it take? Did you end up getting your citizenship? I will be going through the LA consulate due to my location if anybody has experiences there as well!

Thanks in advance everybody :)
